We bring industry to the classroom.
Dream Big Australia is a not-for-profit organisation that provides the best science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) experiences to young people aged 15 to 18, empowering them to become future leaders in education, industry and innovation.
Our school and industry based workshops are designed to ignite our students’ passion for STEAM, develop their skills and knowledge and give them the opportunity to learn from, and connect with leaders in the industry. We design our events not just to improve students’ practical skills, but to spark their curiosity, engagement, participation and career aspirations.
A STEAM education that engages and empowers young people to shape a better future for our world.
We provide practical and engaging STEAM workshops for Schools, Universities and VET systems, including free one-day workshops for female school students aged 15-18.
Partner with us to help young people achieve their dreams in STEAM. We can facilitate strategic partnerships between students, tertiary education, businesses and government.
Dream Big is already making a big impact.
Since 2015, we have engaged over 350 students from 26 schools in Queensland.
We have been recognised for our work with the CQUniversity Opal Award for Engaged Service Learning and Excellence and has received a ‘High Commendation’ under the Engineers Australia Gender Diversity Awards in 2015.
A message from our Dream Team.
Today’s students are tomorrow’s leaders. We believe that better communities, companies will come from a clear focus on teaching skills that will transform our young people into movers, shakers and change makers of the future.
Dream Big Australia was created to engage young people through STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) in a fun and collaborative way. Our programs aim to empower young people by developing their understanding and skills in STEAM and encourage them to pursue a career in the industry. We connect students, education and industry professionals to provide real-world learning opportunities.
