Our program tackles the challenges associated with engagement, progression, and retention of female talent in the industry through providing career development resources and mentoring that prepare women for career success, even before graduation.

Since Dream Big began in 2014, we have established ourselves as a registered charity and non-for-profit leader in engaging and empowering young women from high school to industry. We combine our wealth of cross-industry experience as leaders and change-makers in our fields with our shared commitment to diversity to prepare women for success in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) careers.

We advance women's development by providing career-launching programs and promotions for organisations invested in fostering diversity in sustainable talent pipelines. This provides stronger outcomes for organisations, societies, and economies, as well as the female and non-binary students who take part.

Dream Big Australia has made a conscious choice to make our program free for all participants so that students who identify as marginalised, or come from a regional or low socio-economic background are not financially challenged in accessing quality education.

Education

Our development programs provide access for women and non-binary people pursuing careers in STEAM to learning modules and tools that build skills targeted to help new graduates succeed in their careers, alongside industry mentoring opportunities.

Employment

We work with industry to increase the representation of women pursuing careers in STEAM. We do this through supporting inclusive recruitment and retention strategies to attract and retain diverse talent while facilitating regular mentoring that supports women's employment.

Engagement

We promote gender equality through diverse initiatives, including educational programs, communication campaigns, and impact measurement, empowering women to advance and thrive in non-traditional careers.
